About Soke Rob Williams

Rob Williams is the grandmaster of the Hoshinbudoryu. He is a personal student and senior instructor in Hoshinjutsu for the late Dr. Glenn J. Morris, founder of the Hoshinjutsu system. Rob has been a Hoshin instructor since 1996 and is the creator of the Hoshin Healing and Massage system.
Rob holds master level rank in all areas of Hoshin combat and esoteric training under Soke Glenn Morris. Rob is a Hoshin Tao Chi Kung master and was personally trained and certified by Soke Morris to teach and award rank in Hoshin Tao Chi Kung. Rob went through the full kundalini awakening in 1999 under the personal guidance of Soke Morris. He has taught and lectured with Dr. Morris on the subjects of Kundalini Awakening, energy healing, martial arts, ninpo and chi kung.
Rob has been involved in martial arts training since 1980 and has studied Jow Ga Kempo, Aikido, Bujinkan Ninpo, Hoshinjutsu, Russian Systema and several styles of Kung-fu. Rob has been a professional massage, bodywork and energy healing instructor since 2000. He is an elect member of the Martial Arts Masters World Federation Sokeship Council.
In 2006, Rob inaugurated the "Doc" Glenn J. Morris Award, for Outstanding Dedication and Service to the Hoshinbudoryu. The first co-recipients were Shidoshi Doug Tweedy and his wife, Michelle Tweedy, in 2006
The hoshinroshiryu at the time of Soke Glenn Morris's death had only 5 dan ranks for black belt instructors. In order to denote continued accomplishment and mastery by the Hoshinbudoryu Shihan of the aspects of the Hoshinbudo curriculae outside of Hoshinjutaijutsu, including Hoshin Healing, Hoshin Mikkyo, K.A.P., Psionics, Mandala Therapy, Hoshin Tao Chi Kung, Hoshin Yoga, etc, as well as continued contributions to the knowledge and training of the art, in 2006, Soke Rob Williams added 5 more dan levels to the system.
