Psionics is not another type of magic. Majic is based on the principle that, through the use of word, gestures and catalyzing materials of unique power, external energies can be controlled. The key element of that statement is external energy.Psionics is the complete opposite. The psionicist focuses inward, rather than outward. This type of knowledge comes from long and intense directed meditations coupled with physical extremes. The psionicist finds enlightenment in both complete exhaustion and complete relaxation, in both pain and pleasure. The psionicist carries his or her abilities at all times.
Psionicist are unique in that they are self-contained. They do not need any physical weapons, tools, plants, herbs,candles or deities. The psionicist strives to unite every aspect of his or her ability into a singe, powerful whole.
The essence of psionic ability is the understanding and mastery of the individual self. Although psionic powers are centered in the mind, acquring and controlling these powers demand physical fitness. There are five Sash Levels in psionic training. These levels reflect direct confirmation to the degree of self-contained enlightenment. The psionicist training is very tedious, demanding and exhausting. Periods of downtime and rest are necessary for revitalization and recovery.
